Mike Whittaker and his Team I honestly don’t think I could have asked for a better broker than Mike Whittaker. Mike came into my life at one of the most difficult and overwhelming times I have ever experienced — during my separation and everything that came with it financially and emotionally. I was trying to navigate mortgages, banks, property, legal matters and New Zealand financial rules that I simply didn’t understand and I wasn’t able to comprehend while at the same time dealing with a major renovation of my house and all the stress that came with that. Mike never made me feel like I was a burden or that my situation was too complicated. And it was extremely complicated- believe me. He was always there — on the phone, answering questions, dealing with the banks, explaining things again and again when I didn’t understand, calming me down when I was overwhelmed, and genuinely fighting in my corner when things got difficult. What really stood out was that Mike didn’t just treat me like another client. He cared. He listened. He went above and beyond, and somehow managed to combine incredible professional knowledge with genuine human support. There were plenty of moments when I was crying, struggling or completely lost, and Mike was simply there. That meant more to me than I can probably put into words. And now, after everything, I can honestly say that I gained not only an exceptional broker, but a real mate — the kind of person you know you could go with to steal the horses. 😂 Mike, thank you.
