Full window replacement, new frames and all, starts at $25,000 and can reach $80,000 or more, making retrofit roughly 30 to 60 percent cheaper where the frames are sound. For a broken single pane in an aluminium frame near ground level, expect to pay around $320 plus GST on average, within a range of $200 to $800 plus GST, with timber frames and double-glazed units costing more.
